Paul brings extensive healthcare management experience from NHS Scotland and the private sector.
The new Glasgow clinic will offer treatments including; cataract and glaucoma surgery, laser eye surgery, and lens replacement procedures. Glasgow will also be home to Scotland’s first Schwind Amaris Laser, one of the world’s highest performance laser systems which offers unmatched speed, precision and safety during laser eye surgery.
We are also delighted to welcome 30 new employees into our Glasgow clinic, joining the Vision Scotland family and taking our total members of staff up to 100.
Sanjay Mantry, Co-Founder of Vision Scotland said ‘This is a particularly exciting moment for us opening in my home town of Glasgow. Whilst we will be offering our patients the expert care that has become synonymous with Vision Scotland, we will also be continuing to grow our education centre for Optometrists and surgeons via the Vision Scotland Academy.
‘As we continue to build the Academy which offers our expertise and peer to peer support at a local level, my belief is that we are positioning Scotland as a global hub of education for Ophthalmology. To be at the forefront of passing on our experience is particularly inspiring and exciting for the future of Vision Scotland and more importantly, the innovations we will be able to offer our patients in the future.’
Having restored vision for over 30,000 patients with exceptional satisfaction rates, Vision Scotland continue to uphold our values of excellence, innovation, and patient-centred care. With clinics already established in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Galashiels, and Stirling, the Glasgow expansion marks another step towards improving Scotland’s eye health.
